The Coalition for Affordable Bay Solutions (CABS) is a non-profit advocacy group formed to support the creation of a competitively-bid procurement program for nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus) reductions in Pennsylvania.
A bipartisan 2013 Pennsylvania Senate Budget and Finance Committee report showed that a competitive procurement program will save taxpayers 80 percent of Chesapeake Bay compliance costs – $1.5 billion annually by 2025. PA Senate Bill 799 has been introduced to implement the findings of the LBFC study. To learn more, watch the video below:
